Panraven Storybook

Panraven is a wonerful technology tool that would be great to use in writting stories. Kids today love to tell stories and what could be more fun than to make your own story that looks so professional and realistic. Panraven allows users to upload pictures and tell a story. It is neat because anyone can use this tool if they have access to a computer. There are so many stories out there to be told and for kids who live in a village it is a wonderful tool to use. I think that I would use it in my classroom to allow kids to write their own stories and also learn new stories from people all over the world. I think this is a good tool to use for writing stories because it's easy to use and also the finished product looks just like a published book. For kids to know that their stories will be produced in a professional aspect, they have more pride in their work and it allows more imagination to want to make up more stories. It allows kids to want to write and produce stories because it is so easy and fun to use. There are so many ways to use this tool.

I feel really comfortable using this program and don't have any issues except for the fact that the editing process takes time and PATIENCE! Since it is all produced on the internet, it takes time to copmlete. I do have to say that it sure is worth it in the end once you are finished. You have a story that is professional looking and is worth sharing. Other than the issue of time, I don't have any other complains, and I feel that I can use this in my own classroom. I think this is a wonderful tool to use as a teacher and would tell others about it! I love this program!

Wonderful storybook! It's interesting to me how well your original digital video project translates so well into these different formats. Each one has a different emotional and aesthetic impact on the viewers/readers, which is what I wanted to explore with this set of assignments. Thanks for reworking the material in such useful ways.

One suggestion--when you embed your Panraven story into your blog, it probably would be better to choose the small size to embed. That way it wouldn't bump up against the rest of your blog.
